About
I was a teenage computer geek and began college studying Computer Science at University of Texas at Dallas. I decided to change course when I started managing my friends' band, and within a few months we built up enough buzz online to be written about in The Dallas Morning News, and filmed by MTV. We soon caught the eye of 3 major record labels, and received an offer from an indie. Although the band split before we could ink a record deal, the labels would often ask me who else I represented. I soon realized they had no idea I was 19.
I finished with a B.S. in Business Administration, and am still a bit of a geek at heart. I currently handle sales and business development for Docudesk Corporation, creators of the popular deskPDF and deskUNPDF software, innovative web applications including DocQ and FormEditor, and enterprise-grade PDF Server solutions.
I write about what I'm passionate about - user experience, design, and innovation. My articles have been published by UXBooth, Business Insider, ReadWriteWeb, and Mashable. I enjoy speaking as well and presented my ideas on "The Paradox and The Curse" at the Ignite Dallas / Big Design Conference on July 15th, 2011.
I am a fan of the understated, the inferred, the spaces in between, and the things left unsaid. The air between my fingers.
